Cinco de Mayo Sunday Supper with Karla Krassin

This month's Sunday Supper falls on Cinco de Mayo and guests couldn't ask for a better chef to cook for you and your friends and families! Guest Chef, Karla Krassin of Tumu returns for a very special Sunday Supper! Lachat Sunday Suppers encourage friends and families to gather for a home-cooked meal, companionship and to reconnect to the ones we love. On Sunday, May 5th, come to Lachat to gather with friends and family for an authentic Mexican meal.
Karla Krassin is the owner of Tümü in Fairfield. Karla shares her passion for cooking and love of her native, Mexico and is excited to be a guest chef at Lachat. She wants all to experience the real Mexico through her delicious food.
The menu will include:
- Taco Fillings: Marinated Steak and/or Mushrooms and Cheese
- Taco Accompaniments: Tortillas, cilantro, onions, homemade salsa and guacamole
- Street Corn, Beans, and Rice
- Salad with butter lettuce, mangos and tahini dressing
- Guacamole & Chips
- Dessert: Bunelos
- Hibiscus non alcoholic margaritas, water, Coffee & Tea
- BYO additional beverages (please bring your own tequila if you'd like to enjoy with the hibiscus margaritas)
Communal tables seat up to 9 people. If you are coming with a group but did not purchase tickets on a single order, please let us know any seating arrangements requests in comments. No refunds are possible for this event but you are welcome to find friends to fill your seats if you can not make it...just let us know. Also, please let us know about any food restrictions when reservations are made to make sure we can accommodate. Don't delay in grabbing your seats as space is limited. We hope to see you there!
