Get ready for a cosmic Halloween experience like no other! This year, Lachat Town Farm presents METEOR, where a mysterious meteor crash transforms the farm into a frightening, otherworldly adventure.
THE STORY:
In this chilling twist on the true event of a comet that crash-landed in Weston on December 14, 1807, strange things are happening at the farm. As you walk through the transformed landscape, you’ll encounter disturbing creatures and supernatural surprises. Can you solve the mystery behind the meteor before it’s too late?
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Interactive Walking Tour: A 45-minute guided adventure filled with live actors, horrific scenes, and chilling surprises.
- Storytelling at its Finest: Unravel the mystery of the meteor through an incredible, “almost true" story that will reveal Weston in an entirely new light.
- Concessions: Seasonal treats and drinks will be available.
DETAILS:
- The event starts at our upper field entrance: 1 Ladder Hill Road S, Weston, CT (do not go to the main Godfrey entrance).
- The Immersive Halloween Experience may include content that is intense, frightening, and with disturbing imagery. Parental discretion is strongly advised, as some scenes may be too scary for younger audiences. We recommend this event for ages 12 and up but each parent should consider their individual child's threshold. Thank you for your understanding!
- ALL children under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
- This is a walking tour only.
- Expect loud noises, strobing lights, disturbing imagery, and intense scenes.
- Tickets are sold in time slots, with 30 people per slot.
- Proceeds support our operating costs and educational programs.
- The 6 PM time slot will begin just before sunset, so parts of the experience will take place in daylight, but will still be SPOOKY!
POLICIES:
- No refunds or exchanges.
- No dogs allowed.
- Please arrive on time for your slot. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
- Outside food or drink is allowed for you to enjoy during your hike but please carry out anything you bring in as there will be no trash receptacles
- Concessions: Non alcoholic hot beverages and snacks can be purchased on-site. Arrive early if purchasing on-site to avoid delays.
- This is a rain-or-shine event and will only be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
