2025 Summer Farmhands

Here at Lachat, we’re already buzzing with excitement as we plan for our best summer yet! We've received so many inquiries about the 2025 Summer Farmhands program, and we’re thrilled to preview some exciting details and updates. This year’s program will bring back favorite activities from previous years—animal visits, gardening, wilderness adventures, crafts, games, water play, and wagon rides. But we’ve added some new features that we think will make this summer even more special:
Extended age range: 3-10 years!
* Tiny Farmhands (ages 3-4, open to pre-K 5 year olds during the week of June 16)
* Little Farmhands (ages 5-6)
* Junior Farmhands (ages 7-10), specially designed for our older adventurers!
Longer days for ages 5-10!
* Little and Junior Farmhands will now enjoy an extended program from 9 AM to 3 PM, packed with even more fun and discovery.
* Tiny Farmhands will continue to run from 9am-1pm.
Cooking classes for everyone!
* Instead of a separate cooking program, all Farmhands groups will get hands-on experiences in Brian’s Kitchen.
Seth’s Wilderness Playground added to Nature’s Classroom!
* Our beloved Nature’s Classroom in the Upper Field now includes a brand-new Wilderness Playground where kids can climb, swing, balance, and slide as they explore the great outdoors.
