This summer we are hosting a stellar lineup as part of our Music in the Meadow series. There will be a little something for everyone: rock, soul, folk, blues, and the music of the Grateful Dead. All events will take place from 6-9 PM. We’ll have Food Trucks on hand and our Barn Bar will be open. Ticket sales begin on Monday, May 5, 2025 and are available by visiting the below links. About the Performers
Kicking things off on June 14, is Adam Ezra Group. Adam, an underground, Americana songwriter and his bandmates seem to have popped out of nowhere, establishing a connection with their fans unlike any other, and are suddenly selling out theaters throughout the Northeast. Adam Ezra will joke with you that while the “nowhere” part might be accurate, nothing has ever just “popped” for this folk musician, activist. Without resources, connections, or any kind of clue how the music world works, Ezra began playing shows over 20 years ago. When music venues wouldn’t hire him, he played bars, bookstores, fields, and parking lots, often raising money for causes he cared about; a practice that grew into his nonprofit organization Rally Sound. These days you’ll find Adam and his bandmates, Corinna Smith (Fiddle), Poche Ponce (Bass), and Alex Martin (Percussion), constantly out on the road. If you look at their tour schedule now, you can buy tickets to see them at festivals, rock venues, and theaters around the country, but you will also see their tour continuously peppered with activism and grassroots events; a testament to an artist who will never forget where he came from, and whose mission is about much more than music.
On July 12, New England based The Wicked Lo-Down This band blends raw Texas blues and hard hitting Northeast R&B into their own completely original house rockin' sound. The Wicked Lo-Down is comprised of Nick David - Vocals/Harmonica; Paul Size – Guitar; Jeffrey Berg – Guitar/ Background Vocals; Brad Hallen – Bass; and Nick Toscano – Drums. Their debut album, We Hot (2022), received critical acclaim from some of the biggest names in the blues world and beyond. Lead vocalist Nick likes to describe their music as “a very heavily Blues influenced all original Rock-n-Roll band”.
On August 23, we’re thrilled to present Hayley Jane Band. Hayley pulls inspiration from a variety of styles, including 60s + 70s rock + pop, musical theater, folk, blues, soul, psychedelic, funk + bluegrass. Just as varied, are the many ways she can captivate an audience. Whether the concentrated potency of her solo acoustic performance, the explosive energy + movement of her full band shows, or one of her theatrical performances, she always brings the charisma, humor + passion to move an audience. Her music has been praised by a wide range of musicians, producers + music lovers alike, for successfully combining a diverse sound with clever, over-the-top lyrics + Vaudevillian-style storytelling. Hayley reawakens her audiences to the wild parts of themselves, great medicine for these modern times.
And finally, and without the need for introduction, on September 13 we’ll close our season once again with the Stella Blue’s Band; returning to the farm for the sixth consecutive year to bestow upon us their incomparable and faithful renditions of classic Grateful Dead music.
